im doing an art project and we have to design our own shoes, can anyone give me some creative not obvious material ideas? such as crips packets..plastic... and other ideas other than paper basically

Tyres are used a lot in some countries, if you do some research and find a new way of using them, that could benefit a lot people and be good for the environment.
Rubber bands? Maybe you can find some really big ones to use on a sandal.
Wood? (which paper is, i guess)
Fabrics, like knitted, for example, with a sole.
